2007 List of Events & Festivals

Sam Mazza's farmstand has recently released a list of events and festivals they will host or attend for the 2007 year.

Spring is on the Way!
Our greenhouses are filling up with all spring plants and flowers. Please attend the following event on April 28th & 29th at 12 pm to 3 pm. We'll be conducting a tour and seminar at our greenhouse located on 277 Lavigne Rd in Colchester, VT.

Tours will focus on flowers and tomatoes and the gardening seminar will entail information on how to create your own unique planters. This will give you a opportunity to select from our fine line of plants during this time.

We'll love to see you, so don't miss the event this month!

Corn Maze in Full Swing till Halloween

We are proud to host another Maze Play corn maze this year. We changed maze designs to a more traditional farm theme, farmyard animals. Browse the arial image of the maze and see what animals are in the corn maze!

  • The Maze
    Our Corn Maze at Sam Mazza's Farmstand is a 2.9 mile maze built in the likeness of barnyard animals! Located right in the back fields of the farmstand on Lavigne Road in Colchester, VT.
    You can come and test your sense of direction and endurance in the maze by finding 12 checkpoints througout the maze.

Fall is in the air.. Festivals and your autumn decorating.




Fall is just around the corner and here at Mazza's we have the cure for your autumn decoration needs all in one place. We have pumpkins now thru the end of October along with most of the winter squashes coming out of the fields on a regular basis now.
Corn is still available at limited quantity along with Field Tomatoes, Eggplant, Cucumbers and Greenpeppers.

Plenty of produce if you want that fresh meals to prepare!

Our Corn Maze has opened officially as of last weekend. It has 3 miles of trails where you can try to locate 12 hidden checkpoints throughout. This year's theme is a farmyard animal design by Maze Play. The Corn Maze hours are Sunday thru Thursday; 10am to 6pm & Friday thru Saturday; 10am to 10pm. Great time and fun last year and we hope to have our patrons try to navigate the maze again this year, good luck!

Blueberries and Blueberries

The weather has been great so our Blueberry fields are in full swing and they are plentiful this year!
We are selling for $1.75 per lbs. and our PYO times are 8am-7pm Monday thru Saturday, Sunday's are 8am to 6pm.
We are in our August push to get most of the crops out of the fields as the days are starting to become shorter and the fall crops will be starting with Winter Squashes and then with Pumpkins.
The Sweet Corn is still in abundance and very tender this year, YUM!
With the onset of the fall harvest comes the Harvest Festival at the farmstand. This years' festival will be October 1-2, more to follow as we know what the line-up will be for the festival.
Stop by and visit the children's play area & Petting Zoo, they love visitors!

Fields Looking Good

Our farming fields are coming along nicely this month. The strawberry fields are covered and with some early warm weather, will get those berries moving right along for this June's picking season!
The greenhouses are abuzz with folks looking for all their growing needs as people start flower gardens or just need some plants to spruce up the house, we've got everything plus some.
Our Mother's Day giftcard sale was a huge success this year, this is where we sell a $30 gift card for $25 prior to Mother's Day.
